Permission secured for Bloxham pub expansion

With our office mostly hailing from rural(ish) origins we have a strong appreciation for how quality village pubs can be the heart of a community, so we were thrilled to work on the plans to expand the Red Lion in Bloxham to diversify its provision.

Situated in a conservation area, the submitted plans include an extended dining space, utilising the existing land level to provide a two-storey space which appears from the rear as a single storey ground level extension. Having already established successful events in the summer months with the existing garden marquee, the dining space will double as an events venue for the colder season. The cellar space is to be converted into a micro-brewery allowing the landlord, a brewer, the opportunity to diversify the revenue the pub already generates from food.

We're thrilled that the plans have been approved and excited to see how this development will enable the pub to continue to be an asset to the community it serves!
